About fireplaces with firegel or bio ethanol.
A fireplace that utilises “fire gel” or bio ethanol is currently very popular. It has a luxurious design, no smoke and therefore no ventilation or chimney necessary. Furthermore it is easy and safe to handle with low maintenance. Best performance of heat and consumption can be reached by making use of fuel consisting of 96% bio ethanol. Depending on the circulation of the air in the room, 0,5L of bio ethanol has a burning time of about 4 hours. Burning 1L of ethanol has an output of 6KW. This means when a fireplace has 3 burners of 0,5L it will burn for 4 hours on 1,5L (=3*0,5L). The output will be: 9KW (=1,5*6KW) / 4 hours = 2,25 Kw/h When a fireplace has 4 burners of 0,25L, the burning time will be 2 hours and an output of 3KW/h.Advantages and characteristics:
- Real fire, no smoke or bad fumes, no sparks and no ash.
- Makes use of environmental friendly “fire gel” or bio ethanol.
- No loss of heat due to a chimney shaft.
- As ethanol has the characteristic to burn completely, cleaning is not required.

Cleaning after use is therefore not necessary. You don't need a licence to own a biofireplace. You can use one anytime and anywhere you wish: in your flat, in your conservatory, in your in yor holiday house, etc.
