1930's Art Deco Lorenzl Attributed Lamp Nude Lady
Stunning enchanting piece - original 1930s Art Deco nude lady lamp found in
original condition.
The lamp measures 29cm high by 15cm across approximately
including its light fitting.
The lamp is made from spelter with a lovely
gilded finish in the form of this seductive nude lady.
She kneels
down supporting her head with one arm
whilst the other is raised
straight above supporting the fitting, Statue of Liberty like,
Lovely styling to her hands and feet always a sign of quality.
Some rubbing to her painted finish, but this shows age and originality.
She sits atop a shaped figured onyx base.
A cable
is present but has been cut,
so this will need to be
completely rewired and earthed by a qualified electrician for safety
purposes.
The lamp has some surface marks and scratches to the gilding
There is some
dust build up in places and some small edge
knocks to the onyx but nothing major.
I am
unsure as to whether the light fitting is original although it looks the part.
A really nice original lady
lamp from the 30s very much sort after attributed to Lorenzl but an unsigned peice.
If you google image's 'signed Lorenzl lamp' this one comes up they want £650 but with a shade but looks a latter day shade.
p&p domestic & international will be signed for.
International shipping is an estimate only as country prices vary greatly.
