Ocean Ceramics Small Frag Plugs

Our small frag plugs have
been designed for use with Sps coral frags and single polyp Zoanthids
to ensure maximum flow around the coral to help keep the frags free
from infections while healing which speeds up the recovery time.
We have designed the plugs with a small hole in the center
which makes attaching the frag easier as this adds some mechanical
strength rather than just relying of the chemical strength of the glue
which also makes our plugs very economical as not a much glue is
required to hold the frag in place.
The frag plugs are also made to be as light as possible as we
found that while in transit the lighter the plug the less risk to the
coral as the coral is less likely to tumble around while in transit
again helping to reduce and unnecessary stress to the coral which should
help to ensure strong health frags reach your customers.
We have used these plugs in our own frag systems for many years with great success.
All our products are made of ceramic and are fired to
vitrification and will not leach into the water unlike some
other products like the aragonite , sand and cement mixes which will
leach and change the chemical composition of the water.
Our frag plugs can be used with most frag racks and can also be used with egg crate.
