Exchange LT5 Short blocks W/ Warranty 

We’re pleased to be able to be the 1st in the LT5 world to offer our customers exchange LT5 short blocks.

With the LT5 Corvette 20 + years into the lifespan, we are now seeing the need for overhaul requirements to the Lt5 Power plant. Although the LT5 engine is capable of going 200,000 miles with routine maintenance, there are many engines out there that could do with overhauling as well as engines that have suffered a broken timing chain or ring land etc.

Our engines come with the following NEW components and are all pre tested before shipping, so will see minor carbon on valves from engine cycling.

· Main & Rod Bearings

· Piston Rings

· Oil Pump internal gears (93-95 motors receive complete new oil pump assembly)

· Oil Pump Graphite Seal

· ARP Rod & Cam Sprocket Bolts

· Head & Cam Cover Bolts

· Primary & Secondary Timing Chains

· Primary & Secondary Timing Chain Wear Guides (Both fixed and pivot)

· Oil pressure switch sensor

· Oil pressure gauge sensor

· Crank Position Sensor

· Camshaft Sensor

· Water Pump

· Valve Stem Oil Seals

· All New Gaskets & Seals (Other seals and gaskets not used on the short block are supplied to customer so you can install IH & Plenum as well as headers etc)

 

Items replaced on an as needed basis:

· Pistons – Valves – Crank - Gears – Camshafts – Cylinder Heads

 

Engine is 100% stock once we complete the overhaul. In order to keep the cost down and turnaround in a timely manner, we do not make any porting modifications. These are completely stock motors refreshed to give years of reliable performance.

We back all our engines with a 6 month - 6000 miles warranty 

You will need to remove and re-install all pulleys and accessories from your original motor; this allows us to keep stock rebuilds on the shelf ready to go, as well as keeping the cost affordable.

Please note, you are required to send us your old core, core MUST be complete with no missing parts & be the exact same motor that we send you. Failure to provide a rebuild able core within 30 days of receipt of rebuilt unit will null and void any core charge applied.

Here is how this purchase procedure works:

  • Rebuilt unit is taken from our stock, sent to you, upon receipt remove your damaged or worn unit & return to us within 30 days of receipt of rebuilt unit.
  • Your ebay purchase price is WITHOUT the core, (Once paid on ebay, we will send you a separate invoice for the core charge of $3500.00 which MUST be paid BEFORE we ship the engine.
  • After we have received your core & inspected for accuracy with the unit we sent, we will then drop the authorization charge on your credit card & send you an email of the fact. 
  • If there are any holes in the upper or lower crankcase, or the cylinder heads – camshafts or crankshaft were seized you will be charged additional for the cost of these replacement parts with new/used where available. If you know your engine seized up due to lack of oil, it would be best to notify us of this fact beforehand rather than leave to us to deduct the cost of these parts from your core charge pending credit.
