Mark Davis, one of Disney's nine old men character Mr. (died 2000) was creating "maleficent" carved crystal glass paper weight display.

We attended the event(see Below)Disney legend Marc Davis will celebrate his 85th birthday at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort where there will be an exclusive Marc Davis Gallery with the premiere of a Marc Davis serigraph depicting the artist's most notable animated creations, an exquisite Tinker Bell bronze figurine, and an array of other limited edition collectibles created just for this incredible event. Additionally, guests will be taken to the exciting Disney- MGM Studios for a conversation with Marc Davis, followed by a gourmet dinner at the Brown Derby, and a very special birthday surprise. The birthday celebration takes place March 28, 1998 at The Walt Disney World Resort .
