Now available in 13.8mm x 2.2mm Paua Abalone (9.85). Great news: All of my Paua inserts are now polished on both sides so you can choose from 2 sides of the same insert. They're comprised of two solid pieces of shell permanently mounted to each other for better strength and durability. Jewelry makers, I do not recommend drilling through these as there is no resin/acrylic between the pieces.

3 mother of pearl or abalone flat inserts for brass instruments. Metal buttons are for modeling purposes and are not included--inserts only. You will receive similar pieces to the ones in the photo--no two pieces are identical. Shell's natural iridescence adds beauty to your instrument. Some trumpet models may require the use of crimping tools for installation. Other methods include evenly filing around the sides to achieve a close fit.
Safety when working with shell
Remember to wear a good mask when cutting or sanding any material, especially shell. I recommend wet sanding with carbide or flat diamond files to minimize dust in the air. I'll add more shell variety soon. Please note that there is no tracking number with the free letter mail option. Limit of 2 sets for letter mail.
