Life-Life n scale locomotive with magna tractive force

I listed as used because I am not sure if it has ever been used.  My uncle was a train collector and gave me a collection of his double items.  We were  going to set up a train area in our home, but are downsizing and have no need now.  My uncle rarely took anything out of the boxes so I have a feeling it has never been used.  I have not tested the item.
