The black metal holder is 10.5" long.
There are the 4 holes for mounting screws, The outside screw holes are:

2 7/8" from the ends of the black bar, and the inside 2 screw holes are 3.5 inches from the ends. That means the spacing between the hole pairs is about 5/8 inches.
