12v DC New Indicator / Warning Relay With 5M Flying Lead - Towing / Trailers / Caravans

You are looking at the 12v DC Indicator / Warning Relay (New Shape) with 5m flying lead used with non-multiplex towbar wiring installation. The indicator relay is fitted inline with the N-type socket on the indicator circuits. The relay sounds or lights up (depending on optional attachement (not included) in time with the turn signals when the trailer or caravan is plugged in, to provide an audible or flashing confirmation of correct turn signal operation. Ideal for long wheel based vehicles, Motorhomes, buses, 4x4, lorries etc.

Please Note:- It is a legal requirement to have an warning Relay fitted to your car when towing a Trailer, Caravan, or anything that uses a rear light board.

Most commonly fitted in place of a dashboard mounted warning light
Installed in the vehicle luggage compartment - easily taped or strapped to wiring loom, no mounting holes/screws needed
A visual or audible confirmation of correct turn signal operation is a legal requirement
Not normally required when installing a bypass relay as most bypass relays have an inbuilt turn signal monitor
