Bacon Tenor Banjo with Chipboard Case Vintage 4 String 1927 Old Time Dixieland

If you are looking for a vintage instrument, look no further. This 1927 Bacon Tenor Banjo is an incredibly cool piece! It is a Dixieland style Banjo so it has 4 strings. The rim and the neck are made of Mah, and the back has a sliver bell cover.

For the age of this instrument it is really in good condition. It is still playable, and has been checked over by our in house tech. There is a tear in the original head, but it still resonates, check the pictures out to see the condition of this 88 year old instrument.

Currently setup and tuned in double c tuning perfect for old time music!

This guitar is required to be listed as seller refurbished by the manufacturer. It has been completely checked over by The Music Farm team, and also by the largest manufacturer refurbishing center in America. Buying one of these guitars is almost like buying a brand new guitar, but getting a huge savings on it!

Most of these instruments do not have any visible defects. If there is a visible defect it will be indicated in pictures and in the description. These guitars do not carry the original manufacturer warranty, and in order to prevent invalid warranty claims they are lightly stamped “USED” or “2nd” on the back of the headstock, and the original serial number has been replaced with a new serial number from the refurbishing center.
