This hard-to-find Weller Coppertone Frog and Waterlily Blossom flower frog and waterlily bowl set measures 4.5" high by 5" in diameter, and 3" high by 12" in diameter, respectively.  This fabulous set depicts a pond frog emerging from a waterlily blossom flower frog, and a bowl, which mimics the surface of a pond covered in an array of waterlily leaves, with a centralized waterlily blossom.  The glaze, just about the best we have seen, is Weller's signature Coppertone glaze, which has many shades of green and deeper brown coppery highlights.  The frog has a very serious look on his face…just basking in the sun, mindful of potential predators!  There are stem holes in the base section below the frog for flowers or stems.  The flower frog is marked with an 'A', and the bowl is marked with the number '12'.  We guarantee this set to be vintage Weller.  This stunning set is in mint condition, no apologies.  If you are a fan of Weller's Coppertone family, this elusive set should be in your collection!
