Photo's do not do justice to this awesome knife. It is a 9.75" knife with a  Beautiful  color  Mook   blade and a Italian marble handle, that has pyrite crystals. The handle was made by Michael Brown. It feels great in your hand.  The blade was made and signed by the famous Dale Cannon and comes with a certificate of authenticy. It is displayed on a professionally made oak stand . 

 This is another beauty with the work of three artist and it will add a lot to anyone's collection.

Dale Cannon has been a Lapidary Flintknapper since 1990. He is known World Wide for pioneering the stone blade/stone handle combination knife. He has made thousands of unique one of kind knives using many colorful varieties of materials. 

He has been featured in publications such as the September 1996 Lapidary Journal (featured artist), PBS Production Venture North (featured artist), published in Lithic Artist Journal volumes 1 and 2, released a Flake over Grinding Instruction Video. He has taught an untold number of knappers his techniques in person or through his video. He taught Lapidary Arts and Lapidary Flintknapping at Hennepin Technical College Minneapolis MN. Most recently he was a featured artist about Native American Flintknappers in Native Peoples Magazine the Nov/ Dec 2012 Issue. 

He is most proud of his work with the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian in Washington DC where he was invited to help design the flintknapping exhibit. He was filmed for an interactive video explaining modern flintknapping techniques. You can find his work on permanent display at this Smithsonian Museum. 

He is a registered member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation headquartered in Shawnee OK Tribal #2821A01377. 

All his work is numbered, signed, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
