Matt black vinyl accent decals made to fit Sports wheels as fitted to classic Fords Escorts Capris Cortinas Taunus,
The painstaking process of hand making the templates, scanning into PC, printing on the plotter, weeding the vinyl, trail fitting, adjusting, re-scanning, tweaking, re-fitting, adjusting etc etc has enlighten me to the fact that the accented areas on the wheels (where the inlays sit) actually vary some what on a single wheel, so the final decal is an average of the different sizes. This coupleD with the fact that your particular wheel may have had different thickness of coatings (powder coat/2k/aerosol) and different number of coatings (sandblasted/primed/painted and repainted etc) This difference in the film thickness will alter the dimensions of the design slightly from wheels i used to create the decals. All these elements have been taken into consideration before choosing the final shape for the decal.
To summarise, do not expect an 100% perfect fit, as the are far too many variables for this to be even remotely possible. But do expect your wheels to look more respectable with relatively little effort compared to masking and hand painting.
Areas where the decal is to be applied must be clean, dry, scuffed but smooth.
For best results i painted some matt black around the holes (see pictures) but this is optional

I made these decals for a mk3 Cortina GXL I was restoring on last year. It was an after thought to sell them on ebay. I had no knowledge of any one doing this before... Not that it matters.
