The Best Lock Temperature Control Module prevents a continuously energized electric lock from overheating.

Full current is allowed initially to insure lock activation then voltage is decreased to maintain activation but prevent overheating.

This device can be used with Best locks but also is compatible with other manufacturers' locks within its electrical ratings.

This device may also be used with other applications such as large DC power contactor coils.

Application:

Temperature control module (TCM) that reduces the amount of current flow to a lockset for one second after energizing to lower temperature of lockset trim.
