Note:  This piece will ship without the glass frame to save significantly on shipping costs - we are attempting to identify pieces where shipping costs perhaps are more expensive than framing on the buyers end.  If you would prefer the original frame, please let us know prior to purchase and we will adjust the shipping costs.

This 1950's piece was drawn by noted St. Louis nationally syndicated illustrator, Albert Schweitzer (1921 - ). This piece was purchased from the estate of the original owner of the piece to whom it was gifted by Mr. Schweitzer.  A personalized message referencing their bridge game partnership is on the bottom right.  It was assumed that the original owner was a doctor. The caricature depicts three versions of the doctor.  It is a beautiful piece on heavy stock paper, signed by the artist and in its original glass frame.  The piece measures 22 3/4" x 15 3/4". Please read condition report and see photos.

About Buttercup…

Buttercup is our beloved 8 year old black lab. Her photo is always included with our listings. She is the light of our life and thoroughly enjoys sniffing our finds for any questionable scents. If you happen to find a rogue black lab hair on your item - we promise she is toxic free. This is just her little way of sharing the love!

Please take a look at some of our other listings!  Also, be sure to follow Buttercup on Facebook and Twitter to find out what she is up to and to be updated on recent listings.
