This is the Monster MAXX Wild Wind Motor for the Traxxas E-Maxx Truck. This optional motor replaces the stock motor 19 turn motors. FEATURES: 550 size motor can 19 Turns Single wound Machine wound Standup brushes w/eyelet terminals Pure Copper Brush Hood for low resistance 6.2 XL wet magnets Three SMC (Surface Mounted Capacitors) pre-installed Longer Armature for more torque Dual Ball Bearings Adjustable Timing INCLUDES: One MAXX Wild Wind Motor One instruction sheet REQUIRES: Solder on speed control wires or attach motor spade connectors. SPECS: Turns: 19 Winds: single Motor Can Length: 2.5" Diameter: 1.42" Shaft Diameter: 1/8" (.125") Shaft Length: 1/2" (.50") Voltage: 14v Capacitor value: 0.1uf COMMENTS: The E-Maxx uses two motors. Two motors with the same amount of turns must be used together to avoid damage to the drivetrain. Will work with other 1/10th scale cars and trucks. According to the instructions, motor does not require break-in. If however you elect to change to a different type of brush, follow that brush manufacturers' recommendations for break-in.
