Han Solo DL44 Heat Sink/Grille Prop Part

For sale is my 3D printed replica part of Han Solos DL-44 front heat sink/grille. These parts are very hard to find. Whenever I found them, it was always on back order or took forever to ship out. I decided to get creative and design my own accurate, printable heat sink. Since I had so much trouble, I decided to make my design available to other builders! Each one is personally test fit on my airsoft Mauser or real C96 before shipping to ensure a satisfactory fit.

Very light refinishing is required. I got my heat sink from freshly printed to painted in less than an hour. Both complete DL44s pictured above have my refinished heat sinks on them. One is the airsoft, the other is regular "denix" sized.

Depending on which Mauser you're using, they require a specific size heat sink. This ad is for a "C96" style Mauser. (most common is a Denix) So if yours has a detachable magazine, you need the airsoft sized one. I have both sizes available here on eBay!

Print talk:
This part is 3D printed using high quality 3D Fuel APLA+ filament with a 75% infill and 1.6mm(4) perimeters.

If you are unfamiliar with 3D printed parts:

They require minor sanding or filing preparation prior to being painted. There are some light surface blemishes that are naturally associated with printing, Such as the white areas where support material is removed. This is normal and to be expected with awkward parts such as this and not a lack of quality!  The shape of this piece makes it very difficult for most printers to accomplish. I've test printed over 50 of these before I was finally satisfied with the "off the bed" quality. Each part will come with some instructions simply explaining how to prep it!

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. If you are just starting your build, I also have complete parts kits with everything you need to convert your Mauser to an accurate DL-44. Available from me here on eBay.

Also, if you use a P.O. Box, please include the address where the P.O. Box is located. Otherwise it could get sent to the wrong place!
