This book, which is the fifth volume of a five volume set, is a sequel to The Three Musketeers.

This volume is from a limited edition set; it is #69 from an edition of 1000.

This is a hardback book, 8 3/4" by 5 7/8", 464 pages, with five b/w illustrations.

The illustrations are protected by thin tissues.

The top edge of the pages are gilt-tipped.

This is an ex-library book which has been rebound with a library binding.

There are three library inkstamps; one on the top edge of the pages (barely visible),

one on the title page, and one on the bottom edge of the pages.

There is also an embossed library stamp on the title page.

One of the protective tissues is torn and detached.

Otherwise, the book is in very good condition, with some minor general wear.

The pages were printed on high quality paper, and the result is that

they still look very good, with no foxing and only very light browning.
