The Scene is beautiful, a tiny village on Christmas Eve, with a family descending steps to a church in the valley for midnight services. Father carries a lantern to light the way on the long walk from their home in the forest.
The Studios of John Beswick, a Member of the Royal Doulton Group have transformed Tobey's painting into this fourth limited edition plate in the series. Artfully sculptured in deep bas relief, vibrantly hand painted, it continues the series so loved by collectors and non-collectors alike.
