Four volume set bound in contemporary full leather, spines with five raised bands, gilt tooling and lettering to compartments but lacking title labels; bindings generally rubbed with wear to extremities, small loss to spine ends, joints cracking though only two boards a little loosened, others firm; armorial bookplate to front pastedowns (the Hon. George Baillie Esq, one of the Lords of the Treasury, dated 1724); title-pages printed in black and red (fore-edge margin of Vol. IV title-page trimmed by approx 0.5 cm); contents with age-toning, some foxing, and minor blemishes, otherwise generally sound and in good order.
