This felt has been designed to be tiled over and is a way better product then the old type fiber glass bitumen felt. No mess and no rips or tears. If you are doing a new build it is a requirement now days that you use this felt underneath your pitch roof tiles. Can be washed or swept down, this is the Vent 3 Classic membrane the heavier duty version. This felt has been manufactured to BBA Standards and all rolls are stamped. These things should be taken into account when trying to achieve a long life roof.
