The new Springtail products have been designed to mount using existing body mounts or holes, thus they can be removed at any point without damaging the vehicle in any way.

What is it good for?

This is the perfect place to mount a fire extinguisher, CO2 Tank or any heavy item that you would like to keep in check during those rough off road excursions. We have updated the 2^nd generation of side racks to offer a cubby that is big enough to stow an ammo can, water jug or whatever you need quick access to.

Is it really “Heavy Duty”?

When we say heavy duty, we mean HEAVY DUTY! The JK Unlimited MPAC Side Rack is composed of formed and laser cut 11 gauge steel. We have included the best quality hardware that we could find…all stainless with Nylock nuts. Once it is assembled it will stay that way…no rusting or loosening up. Feel free to load it up!

6.9 in wide x 13 inches long x 4 inches deep

Is the installation hard?

Installation takes about 1 hour and requires only basic hand tools. There is no drilling required; the MPAC system utilizes factory mounting points and factory hardware. It is designed to be compatible with both hard and soft top applications and will fit underneath a dust cover.

I'm a survivalist. I've trained for that, practiced my training, and view my JK as an extension of that philosophy. A lot of my early mods were geared towards that (MPAC rack for med supplies, MOLLE bags for MRE's, etc).

I received my JK side rack yesterday and installed it last night----------WOW, impressive quality and fit----a little bit of a PIA to install by myself in my driveway in the dark when it’s 30 degrees out---but well worth it—thanks for a great product—I will recommend to all

Both of my rear racks are stuffed to the gills and are so sweet. Everything that used to be floating around in my truck is now stowed,labeled and secured. I love it.

I went cheap initially and bought some JK products from someone else on ebay. Big mistake! The finish and function were terrible, worst of all was the rattles. The Springtail products install easily and do not make any rattles. Thank you Springtail for helping me keep my sanity on rough trails

I installed my MPac this afternoon and for a silly girl, it was not that bad. My hubby spent 6 months embedded with the Marines in Fallujah in 06/07 and he said that the quality of the bags is like the custom stuff they get over there. Thanks Doc!

I was a bit weary of the prices for the rear/side racks at first, but when you see what you're getting, it is SO WORTH IT! High quality stuff. The racks and the MOLLE bags would probably survive a tornado, I plan on keeping my truck for a really long time and want stuff that's gonna last right along side of it and won't fall off/apart in a month.

I have to say it is one of the best mods that I have done to the car.The bags are strong and durable and the mounts are perfect...
