This is a fantastic piece that would be a great centre-piece and talking point in any room. You can’t buy this on the high street!

This piece has been created using a 1960’s solid wood door frame.

The frame has been lightly sanded and then painted in shades of grey and white. I have used chalk paint and dark wax to create an industrial, aged patina. Large brush strokes add depth to the paint, and dark wax highlights and ages the paint in areas -see the pictures.

This is a unique, solid wood frame.

Measurements in cm as follows: 187 x 76 x 4

Measurements in inches: 77 x 30 x 1.5

Picture aperture is 60cm x 40cm or 24 inch x 16 inch

Weight - 11.5kg

I have cut backboards which have been lined with decorative paper. These are secured with tacks/nails into the solid wood frame. They are easily removed and I will supply extra with the frame, should any become damaged in the process of removal.

No glass included - Perspex sheets can be purchased cut to size on eBay if required. Your Pictures can be fixed in many ways - directly to the backboard with double sided tape, or pinned onto the decorative backboards, or maybe by using different types of mounts to create smaller multi- aperture frames. It’s up to you!

This is ready to hang on the wall with the original hinges that have been secured to allow the frame to hang flush to a wall.

I will be working on another frame from the same style of door so keep a look out for my next piece!

Postage is due to weight and size.
