Two MATCHED vintage Sennheiser MD 421 U-5 microphones. Includes a case, manual, and two mic clips.

Both mics are from a non-smoking environment and sound excellent. I used them for micing toms. It's been a while since I've conducted an A/B listening test, but in the past they have sounded identical when they are both in the "M" (music) mode. (I bought these mics secondhand as a matched pair.) I am selling these because I am no longer recording drum sets.

One mic appears to be "stuck" on the "M" (music) mode. It is possible to change the ring switch to "S" (speech) on that mic, but I do not hear the high pass filter kick in. I have put stickers on both mics to differentiate which one is stuck in the "M" mode -- which, if you're familiar with these mics, is the mode you probably want to use anyway! See the pictures to see the stickers. The "S" mode works fine on the other mic, but, as I said, if you want to use a MD 421, you're probably going to want the "M" mode for this mic to get its characteristic sound.
