Brand New UN-Used Viair 450C Air Compressor Piston & Connecting Rod with Counter Weight, Cylinder wall & replacement head rebuild kit for NEW STYLE VIAIR BRAND Compressors. This rebuild kit is only for Viair Brand 450C Air Compressors. This kit will not work with any other brand air compressors.

NOTE: Check Picture to make sure you have 450C NEW STYLE Piston Air Compressor before buying this kit. Do not buy this if you have an OLD STYLE Piston Air Compressor.

Important Information:

*** Piston Ring Does not come by itself. Piston ring comes as a complete piston assembly.***

***Replacement Head will not come with Upper Reed Valve (Saddle Plate) Assembly.  Clean & use old saddle plate/reed valve assembly with new replacement head.

***Make sure this reed valve/saddle plate placement in new head is similar to what is in old head, wrong orientation/ direction of this saddle plate will break piston in to pieces***


TIP : How to find compressor model number & age of your Viair Compressor? If you are not sure what Viair model compressor you have. ***Will OR May not apply to Viair brand Onboard Kits & Air Source Kits***

Unscrew filter housing (Gray) plastic filter housing from front side of compressor crank case, where air inlet threaded suction hole is. You will see a 5 digit number. This 5 Digit part number is for Viair brand air compressors only. For Example : 450C will have following P/N's for Viair "C" Series Air C 45012, 45040 P/N.
Right below these 5 digit part number will be 4 digit numbers. First 2 are YEAR & next 2 are MONTH of Manufacturing.

- 450C Connecting Rod & Piston Rebuild Kit with counter weight

- 450C Cylinder Wall Rebuild Kit with 2 O'Rings (Gaskets)

- 450C Head Replacement Rebuild Kit With Gasket (inside head)- New Style with longer cooling fins
