Vintage 1950s Brumberger 3D Realist Stereo Viewer Stereoviewer in Metal Storage Case

I have been collecting 3D media for the last 30 years and have finally decided it's time to part ways with some of my favorite things.
The Stereo Viewer:
Brumberger viewers have always been one of the best battery powered viewer for 3D slides! This viewer is in excellent working condition and has the coveted swirl pattern in the plastic rather than the plain black or blue! It has NO chips, NO cracks, and only very light scratches from careful use. In preparation for it selling on ebay, I cleaned the single element lenses - they are both clean and clear. It has been serviced and tested and it works perfectly! The focusing adjustment, which works via a thumb wheel is operating as it should. The electrical connections have all been cleaned and are sound. It takes two "D" size batteries which are not included. Underneath there us is a tripod mount hole so it can be mounted on a stand for easy viewing. The viewer is turned on by depressing the round button on top. The viewer is very sturdy. I have gone through this viewer and it's ready to last another 60 years!
The Original Brumberger Metal Storage Box:
This lot also contains an original Brumberger Metal Storage box which is a huge upgrade from the original box most are found in. These were sold separately from the viewers and were very expensive, so not many are around today.This one is so well built and heavy that after the nuclear holocaust, the only thing still undamaged will be this box! Seriously this box is so well built that you would be hard pressed to even dent it. It holds one Brumberger stereoviewer plus has room for at least 125 cardboard mounted slides with 4 metal tab dividers. There is some tarnish on the box as you can see from the photos, but it is sturdy with no repairs and will display with the viewer very nicely. And if you intend on bringing your viewer to a friend's house, this is one of the safest ways to do it!
The Stereo Slides:
Also included is 12 vintage Realist format slides in red bordered Kodak mounts which are typical of mounts used in the 1950s and early 1960s. They are all amateur 3D photos that appear to be from someone's vacation and around their house. Please check out my photos and if you have any questions, please email!
