Hello my name is Ema Bennett. I am an Israeli born artist and my Hebrew name is Nechama
which was given to me by my mother. It means to " comfort " as I was unexpectedly
born the last of seven siblings.
I have always been involved in arts and crafts, and my background is very eclectic including
drawing, sketching and painting, especially watercolors. Also I have worked with polymer clay "
FEMO " and love to sew which I still use to create many of the clothes for my reborn dolls.
More than 8 years ago after attending a number of local and national doll shows, I became
enamored With the art of making Reborn Dolls. It has become a passion for me that brings me
great fulfillment.
It has allowed me to utilize and adapt many of my previously developed skills to this unique art
form. I have attended many conferences and workshops so I am constantly challenging myself
to improve my techniques in order to bring out the unique personality of each and every doll.
In these last 8 years, I have sold my reborn babies and toddlers all over the world.
My goal is to bring enjoyment to those who will "adopt and cherish" these reborn baby dolls.
From this I derive much satisfaction and the inspiration to continue my journey for many
years to come.
