In modern magical traditions, frankincense is often used as a purifier – burn the resin to cleanse a sacred space, or to anoint an area that needs to be purified.

Because it is believed that the vibrational energies of frankincense are particularly powerful, many people mix frankincense with other herbs to give them a magical boost.

Many people find that it makes a perfect incense to use during meditation, energy work, or chakra exercises such as opening the third eye. In some belief systems, frankincense is associated with good fortune in business.

The resin is also known as olibanum and is popular in the perfume industry. It's used as incense because when it burns it releases a fragrant smoke. In fact, its name is derived from the Old French "franc encens", which means "pure or high quality incense".

The incense is lit in religious ceremonies, used during meditation or aromatherapy, or simply lit for pleasure. It's sometimes used as an insect repellent and an air freshener.

Frankincense has been popular as an incense for thousands of years and was used in Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome. It's mentioned in the Bible as one of the three gifts of the wise men to the baby Jesus, along with myrrh and gold.

Pure, uncontaminated frankincense is edible and can be chewed like gum, although it has a stickier texture than modern chewing gum. An oil can be extracted from the resin. The resin, the oil, and the Boswellia plant are said to have many health benefits.

The medicinal effects of frankincense or Boswellia haven't been confirmed by scientists, but there have been some intriguing preliminary discoveries. (I won’t list here so not to be misconstrued as medical advice!)

Goods are dispatched on a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, usually in the morning.

Items are sent via Royal Mail second class unless stated otherwise.

UK CUSTOMERS- Multiple purchases will always have postage combined, just add items to your basket and this will be done automatically at the checkout, the dearest item will be charged at full postage and then all eligible items with a postage charge will be charged at just 20p per additional item.

There are a few items exempt if very large or if being sent with tracked shipping.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS - When making multiple purchases please do remember to ‘request total from seller’ so I may combine shipping for you.

EUROPE - I have had no choice but to upgrade the postage here to a tracked service on many items. Upon dispatch of your order a tracking number will be provided so you can monitor the progress.

RETURNS, DAMAGED GOODS AND LOST ITEMS.

If for any reason you’d like to return an item I offer a 30 day returns policy.

Please ensure goods are unused, and returned in the condition you received them, in the original packaging. The buyer will pay the cost to return the item. Upon receipt a full refund will be issued.

If your item arrives damaged please just send me an image and I’ll have a replacement sent out for you, if unavailable a full refund will be given.

Lost items will be re-sent where possible, if not a full refund will be given. This will be done 15 days after the expected date to allow time for arrival.

ABOUT THE CRYSTALS

I have worked with and collected crystals since around the early 90s and is a great passion of mine, it brings me much satisfaction to send them out into the world and share them with you.

All the crystals, minerals, and tektites are purchased within the UK from reputable suppliers. The source of the crystals is listed as much as possible.

The crystals are all very good quality. Any crystals arriving too small, or with too many imperfections are removed and often sent as free gifts or listed under the reduced header.

All items I sell are stored in what has become affectionately known as the 'clean room'. The room itself is cleansed regularly along with the rest of the house, but I do not cleanse and charge the crystals unless requested as many users prefer to perform this themselves, much like myself.

All crystals are stored in a closed container of some sort to prevent dust and other damage occurring.

If you would like your crystals cleansing or charging please drop me a message and I am happy to do this at no extra charge.
