The Power Adapter with the batteries gives you peace of mind. The adapter can be used on an everyday basis, allowing the batteries to function as a backup power source in case of power outages. A power adapter icon will appear at the top of the LCD screen when the adapter is being used as the primary power source. This indicator helps you to verify that the unit isn’t running down the batteries.
Replace your existing adapter or add the cord with the batteries. Plug one end into the Simply Feed and one end into a standard 110 V outlet.
