Townsend & Company 1859-1861 1st Edition Thus Vintage Copy 8vo 8" - 9" tall Hardcover Book condition is Very Good- in embossed boards with gilt decoration. Wear at spine base and top, as well as corners to most volumes. A few small bumps and tears to edges of exterior. Owner name and date to front end page of a few volumes. Text is clean and unmarked. Each volume illustrated with steel engravings reproducing the original illustrations of Darley, including in-text illustrations, frontispiece and engraved title-pages. There is some yellowing / spot toning to these pages, as I tried to picture.
