Calla Lily-Planting Guide

Planting Time: Plant whenever you can get Bulbs All year around

Growth Height: Height up 40 to 50cm

Planting Position: Full Sun / Half Shade

Planting Depth:  Cover top of the Bulbs 7cm  

Flowering Time:  Late Spring to throughout the entire summer.

Watering: Water upon planting, keeping moist during dry spells. 

Fertilizing: Use a complete fertilizer or organic manure, prior planting.

Pest and / Diseases: Generally trouble free with no major problems.

Lifting Time: Lifting the bulbs from ground isn't required. 

Once the flowers are finished, the stems will die back.

They can be left in the ground up to several years and will multiply easily.

Handy Hints: Plant some in pots to bring them indoor when their in flower.

GROWING Calla Lilies from  SEEDS
Calla lily  Flowering late Spring to through Summer.  
When to Plant:
 Best to plant  Late winter through Summer.  
All year in tropical area
 
Calla Lilies:  Growing from seeds will Produce Bulbs 
and flower same year,
Late Planting will develop Bulbs and flower fallowing year 
 

Germination Tip: we recommend you to store seeds 3 to 4 weeks
in fridge, (for cold treatment )  before you planting.
By doing this, and sudden exposing seeds to warmer temperature
 
will help embryo to brake a dormancy and trigger up germination!
 

Planting:
 Plant seeds 15 to 20mm deep, and cower top of the seeds with coir, 
Try to grow seeds in container cover up in plastic on top.

 moisture, humidity, and temperature 


Germination: will start 45 to 65 Days,  subject the condition in growing environment planted in,
some seeds it may take longer to germinate  Best Germinating temperature  15 to 25 centigrade
