Up for sale is a great, original, colored, ANTIQUE MAP from the THE OFFICIAL ATLAS OF KANSAS - 1887.

It features the "OFFICIAL TOPOGRAPHICAL MAP OF KANSAS" Compiled From Government Surveys Official Records and Personal Investigations.  L.H. EVERTS & CO., Publishers - Philadelphia.

It is blank on the reverse side.

It is a detailed map measuring approximately 32" x 17", including the border area.

It is generally in Fair Condition.   It is on thin paper and there is age related browning and toning and some spotting and stains.  It has tears and chips around the edges, including some old yellowed tape. There are many wrinkles and creases throughout.  There is a vertical section on the left side of the map that's missing - it was been taped back together, but a section is gone and there is a 1" tape gap.  Some other dings here and there, as well.  

This map would be a great addition to any collection and will look very nice when framed!  

Please note that while I have included a picture of the Title Page of the Atlas that this map was taken from, it is NOT included in the sale, as it is a reference piece to determine authenticity for other maps/engravings.
