Installation
-Check which side your skewer handle is on, this will be the same when you install the new skewer.
1. Put your bike upside down, with the handlebars and seat on the ground.
2. Pull your OLD skewer handle away from the wheel, then hold the backing nut and spin the handle in a counter clockwise direction until the backing nut is free. (Try not to lose the springs and screw the old skewers back together)
3. Get your NEW skewers, unscrew the backing nut and spring off the skewer.
4. Insert your NEW skewer with spring into the axle, insert the spring onto the skewer and tighten by holding the backing nut and spin in a clockwise direction
5. Close the skewer handle inwards, (If it doesn't close, you need to loosen the backing nut. If it closes and the wheel isn't tight, you need to tighten the backing nut) You'll need to adjust them to suit. (They all work like this)
6. Once you have completed the skewer installation, repeat for the other wheel. (It doesn't matter if you started with the front or rear wheel)
7. Check your skewer handles are on the opposite side of the rear cogs.
