The retouched versions are in a minimally compressed .jpg format, size
10x7inches for standard printers, while the much bigger original tiff scans are larger
again - and readily
re-sizeable even further upwards according to user preference and for
large format printer owners' needs.
At, say, a physical size being set of 8x11in approx they then
still have a resolution of 300dpi each and a file size of between 21 and
30mb. The result is a very wide flexibility for all users, a suitability for many purposes and
for printing on a wide range of materials and surfaces, including large canvas
prints.

Like others in our various countries photochrom collections it now has the
added flexibility of having
two
file formats included
on the same disks - restored/enhanced 10x7in .jpg's as well as
our giant un-restored (average around 30mb file size) original .tiff scans. The
latter are a little larger in physical size too (see details on left)
and our versions can readily be manipulated with simple photo editing software.

natural graininess due to their Antique nature and
innovative production process is compensated for by
their inherent charm and the rfascinating colour
