12 larvae of the Death Head Hawk Moth (Acherontia Atropos)

This Listing is for 12 live larvae/caterpillars L1/L2 of the famous Death Head Hawk Moth! They feed on Privet leaves, which is available all year round. Pictures show adult Moth and Larvae at different stages and color phases.
This species is moderately easy to rear, they do well at room temperature. The adult moth makes a squeaking sound when handled and is very strong! It is the heaviest moth present in Europe which migrate accross Africa and Europe continent. In captivity the adults need to be hand fed every 2 days with honey mixed with water, however you can keep the pupae in a cool place and they will overwinter as they do in the wild; you can then release the moths once they emmerge as this species occurs here in the wild. The caterpillar grows extremely fast, and goes through drastic transformation.
