First edition of this scarce work, complete in two volumes (bound together as one); rebound in maroon cloth with gilt title to spine; remains generally sound, boards rubbed and marked, some wear and bumping to extremities; spine rubbed with crumpling at ends; half-titles present; contents with some foxing throughout, a little light soiling in places; lengthy pencil annotations to section title "Une Visite a Monaco" in Vol. II; folding genealogical table with a couple of tears and small loss (see images); text in French.
