of stylish imagery from the first few years of the German weekly art
magazine called ‘Jugend’ (Youth) from the late
Victorian and early Edwardian periods.

The Publication was famous for its style and in particular
its Art Nouveau illusts, giving rise to the term Jugendstil
(Jugend-style). |
Timecamera has taken the best of the best and restored them extensively on a
computer disc (or Download alternative). See the quality. They have
also enhanced the scans throughout for improved digital printing.
Accordingly while the original material is in the public domain the
unique and much improved versions offered in this collection are not and therefore
may not be copied, resold or redistributed in this form.
Two Main Collections Included for
Print Making
The collection is
roughly divided between art nouveau illustrations and other
material, particularly covers, offering exceptional artistic skill,
although there is inevitably some crossover between the folders due
to the inherent art style of the period. Much of the material can be
used ‘as is’ or can be incorporated into other works as desired and
also used for general reference by art students and designers.
Large Size, High Resolution, Restored Imagery
The illustrations
are generally high res overall ranging from a lower end of approx
171dpi where the original itself was lower resolution up to many at
ultra high res at 360 dpi. They are all also physically large being approx 10
inches on their longest side and all come in the standard .jpg
format - although as with our other collections in the same format
they are saved at the highest quality minimum-compression setting.

Also included by way of a bonus is an additional free folder of
some three dozen
restored Art Nouveau images from sources other than 'Jugend' to enjoy or to make prints from.
As with many of our free bonus offers, although believed to
be in the public domain due to their age this has not been
fully researched so they are intended for discretionary
personal use. They do benefit from our usual restoration
work and unique enhancements, making them ideal for digital

for personally making physical 'Prints' onto any surface for either your own use or for sale - but NOT
the right to copy or sell the digital files themselves which are
copyright protected. Each

1. In common with other
graphic image publishers we are not able to offer sale or return facilities.

The contents of each CD/DVD are detailed throughout
the site and each contains the numbers of images shown included
for each subject but this may not equate with a full disc
capacity.

Customer details are kept confidential and privacy is respected.
Please advise at time of ordering if you do not wish to receive
details of similar compilations if they become available.

Purchasers agree not to misrepresent reproduction prints or photos as Originals,
either deliberately or by simple omission, and absolve Timecamera.com of
any liability arising thereby.
5. We reserve the right of refusal to supply and/or to
change prices without prior notice.

Purchasers may not copy or distribute the images or CDs/DVDs, agree to read
the Terms of Use and by placing an order are deemed to have accepted them and
agree to abide by them.
7. A
purchase is for the supply of goods only and does not include the
right implied or otherwise to business and/or marketing advice and
should any be offered it shall be in good faith only.

Images should
be transferred to a hard drive immediately upon receipt. Any disc found
to be faulty at that time will be replaced but we cannot be held liable for any mechanical fault, damage
or loss arising from the use of the media or for its long
term viability.
9. Note the return provisions of the Distance Selling Regulations do not
apply to CDs, or DVDs of image software.
10. We advise
all images should be transferred to a hard drive upon receipt and the
disc should be kept as a back-up.
11. Sales are for the use of the images and in accordance with 10 above
please note that packaging and labelling is kept to minimum cost to help
maintain the current low pricing levels. |
