We understand that many people want to create a natural looking aquarium filled with authentic rock, wood and plants. We are particularly pleased to be able to supply you with these pre soaked pieces of Marsh Root to give your aquarium a natural look. All pieces have been pre soaked and will be supplied to you in a damp condition, the packaging has been resealed as we have taken time to open each piece so that we can photograph it for you.. They will not leach tannins into the water or alter the pH of your aquarium. Marsh Root is ideal for those people who want a natural biotope like aquarium in their home.
Please note that when wet, the long thin pieces of this root are supple and pliable, occasionally the wood may float initially, however once fully wet it will remain at the bottom of the tank. As the wood is stored in a non-aquarium environment before we dispatch, the wood may need soaking to regain the same dark colour and pliability as expected. Note this item is tree roots and therefore some 'branches' are connected together via very thin strands of the root - they are not broken - this is how they should be.
As this item is packed in saltwater, please soak thoroughly before use.
