During the rehearsal for the wedding of Lady Anne (Susan Brooks), David (Paul Nicholas) stands in for the groom. However, due to the pastor's (Ralph Richardson) ineptitude, David finds himself actually married to Lady Anne which is just the beginning of a rollercoaster-ride of disaster.
