Vintage Natural Blue Lace Agate Necklace...

1980's Hong Kong

I am selling this as part of my good friend's estate. She started collecting in the early 1980's and never stopped until the very end...I will be selling pieces of her collection through the next few months.  I have been a Seller on eBay for 18 years, prompt shipping and every item is always insured.

This is a necklace that my friend purchased while she was on a business trip to Hong Kong in the mid 80's. She had a favorite shoppe to go to where they made up necklaces for her.  She had found these beautiful agate beads in one shoppe and took them to another to choose a silver clasp (the clasp is sterling, this style of clasp had just come into the market) and have them made into a necklace...what a beauty it is.  The blue lace agate beads measure 17MM in size, the Chinese silver SHOU bead measures 21MM. This stunning necklace is 20" in length, but wears more like one that is 18" due to the large bead size.  Blue lace agate beads just don't come much larger than these, especially with this rich and opulent color and beautiful polish...
