This Kohl's Cares hardcover and Gund bean bag plush set is adorable!  It is in              excellent condition!  There is a slight bit of discoloration, on the dust jacket, in the upper left hand corner.  It looks like it may have gotten wet, but it is barely noticeable.  I tried to take a close up picture of it, but it didn't even show up.  Other than that, the book is in great shape!  I had the plush displayed, on a shelf, in my kindergarten classroom.  It was never handled by my students.  This set is clean and comes from a smoke free home.

The plush is 6.5" tall.  When sitting, it is 4.75" tall.  Though the cardboard tag has been removed, the 3 "tush tags" are still attached.  Curious George has "beans" in his bottom and stomach.  The rest of this plush is stuffed.

George has embroidered eyes, tan felt ears, and a nose stitched on in black.  His body is made out of a plush, brown, Velour like material.  His face, hands, and feet are made out of a different tan material.  There is stitching on the hands and feet to designate separate fingers and toes.  George has on his famous, collared, short sleeved, red shirt with this name appliqued in cursive yellow letters.

The Kohl's Cares book measures 10.25" x 10.25".  It has a dust jacket.  The copyright is 2008, and the publisher is Houghton Mifflin.  The author is R. P. Anderson, and the illustrator is Anna Grossnickle Hines.  The following is a synopsis of the plot of the book.: When George and the man in the yellow hat visit the aquarium, George's curiosity gets the better of him.  He accidentally joins some of the exhibits!

The Gund bean bag plush is rare and very hard to find!  I have not seen any others currently selling online!

As a former educator, I am a big fan of the "Curious George" series of books.  My kindergarten students loved the books, and I enjoyed reading them to my class.  Not only is the artwork great, but George always tries to make right his wrongs by saving the day, so he takes responsibility for is actions!

This set would make a wonderful addition to a preschool, kindergarten, or 1st grade classroom!  It would also make a nice addition to a household with young children!  I am hoping to find this set a good home.
