This auction is for a Cartridge SCREW / MOUNTING FITTING KIT SPECIFIC for THORENS HEADSHELLS; the KIT we offer in this listing includes SCREWS "SOCKET HEAD" type and a small ALLEN KEY which is necessary to secure the screws correctly.

It should cover most of the Cartridges out there, specially the taller ones (like the Shure V15 or most of the Moving Coil types); as for the less taller ones I am including two different sets of short screws in order to avoid having to cut or use spacers.
The MOUNTING KIT you will receive contains 14 cheese head screws ( 2x 20mm, 16mm, 12mm, 10mm, 8mm, and 6mm long, ), 4 plain washers, 4 locking washers and 4 nuts, all made in stainless steel (A2 SAE304 , does not retain magnetism compared to normal carbon steel); Stainless steel is perfect for audio applications and in particular for cartridge assemblies and has the advantage of complete absence of any oxidation
I used this kit for my personal TD150 MKII with TP50 headshell (Grado Gold and SHURE V15 cartridge) , but will work perfectly on the TP60 and the TP62 or , as far as I know, on any other Thorens standard headshell with the same fitting system (screws fitted directly to the shell) , so buy with confidence!
Moreover the length of the screws should enable you to fit virtually any type of cartridge, including the one which require very short crews (e.g. Stanton and AudioTecnica)
ATTENTION:
- old Thorens headshells are UNIQUE because the screws fit DIRECTLY on the headshell without any need of Nuts (Thorens Headshells TP50, TP60, TP62 - please refer to photo)
- the screws supplied with this kit are smaller that the standard 2.5 - 3.0 mm screws usually found on NON Thorens headshells;
- the Kit includes 4 NUTS in order to enable it to be used with other headshells provided that you will have the patience to properly allign the cartridge
