The EDUTIGE ETM-008 is a unidirectional external microphone, ideal for recording interviews and making videos. The microphone only captures sounds from directly in front of the mic. This means other sounds around you are rejected and won't interfere with your recording.

This is perfect for anyone who makes vlogging videos because you will only get the sound you want to make your video sound awesome. It also works great with digital voice recorders for recording lectures or for journalists recording interviews.

The ETM-008 works with the 3.5mm 3-pole devices such as DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, GoPro action cams*, digital voice recorders, camcorders** and PCs.

Please Note:

*For GoPro Hero3/3+/4 you will need either the EDUTIGE EGL-001 Mini USB to 3.5mm Microphone Adapter Cable or the GoPro 3.5mm Mic Adapter. For the GoPro Hero5, only the GoPro Pro 3.5mm Mic adapter is tested compatible.
**Incompatible with Canon camcorders, but works great with Canon DSLR and mirrorless cameras.
***This microphone is NOT compatible with smartphones and tablets.
