Ever opened a bottle of wine and only savoured a little? You’re then faced with the dilemma: what to do with the rest of the wine?

Once you’ve opened your bottle, the oxidation process begins, and the taste of your favourite drop begins to change. But there’s a way to preserve the flavour of your wine, until you’re ready to drink the rest.

The Wine Saver is a vacuum pump which extracts the air from the opened bottle and re-seals it with a reusable rubber stopper. To use, simply place the reusable stopper in the bottle and extract the air from the bottle using the Wine Saver pump. A “click” sound tells you when you have reached the optimum vacuum level. The vacuum slows down the oxidation process which makes it possible to enjoy your wine again later.

We have a 30-day return policy for the Vacu Vin Wine Saver. To return, please ensure the included item(s) are placed back in or in the original packaging. The Wine Saver cannot be used or show any evidence of being opened.

The Vacu Vin Wine Saver is subject to a standard 6-month full-replacement warranty for any manufacturing defects.

How long will this preserve wines?
It depends on how much wine is left but in general it will preserve the wine for around 7-10 days.

After installing the cap, can the bottle be laid flat or will it leak?
For some bottles, it will prevent leaking but for most, it will leak if stored flat.

About how many pumps do you need to get the click-click sound?
It depends on how much wine is left. If the bottle is relatively full, then you only need a few clicks. If it’s almost gone, then you may need several more.
