Vintage ,lightly smoked  briar pipe  . Bowl  is  stamped (Briarcraft ) LL Bean Freeport ME Imported briar . Bit is stamped  with an orange diamond.  Pipe is just under 5 1/4  inches long from bottom   of bowl to end of bit.  Bowl chamber diameter is just under 3/4   inch and bowl depth is just  over 1 1/2  inches. Light caking in bowl.  Light tooth  wear on end of bit -  .   I was always intigued by the 'filter' system of briarcrafts- a folded pipe cleaner stuckinto 2 holes under the stinger.  see pics.    Normal wear and tear (dings, oxidation and scratches) for an estate pipe. Nice overall shape and condition.
