Early unmarked violin in a wooden GSB case with bow.  Someone told me the bow is worth twice as much as the violin, but I certainly would not know.
This is a found item that has seen so much usage that it only has two strings left, the bow "hair" is frazzled, and the wood finish shows serious wear.  One of the string tuning knobs was twisted off at some point.  I would say this is a cool shabby chic decorator item, and that is about it.

I am guessing at the age because of the GSB case.  That would be the George S Bond case company of New Hampshire which operated in the early 1900's.  The brass bow clamp has the initials (pictured)  The case is rough to with water damage which bowed the wood on one end.  Again, only good for rustic decoration - like what you would see on a wall of Cracker Barrel.
