Beautiful Om Mani Padme Hum Mantra Buddhist bangle

A stunning, top quality piece exclusive to Arabesques Jewels.  On the outside of the bangle is the Om Mani Padme Hum Mantra with a small AAAA grade CZ at each end of the text.  On the inside, the same mantra in Tibetan script.  The ends of the bangle feature a peaceful Buddha and OM symbol set with CZ

The Om Mani Padme Hum mantra is one of the most powerful in buddhist teachings.  It is known as the Mantra of Compassion.  The 6 syllables of the mantra represent the purification of the 6 realms of existence.

1.  Om -  To perfect generosity,  it purifies pride and ego (realm of the gods)

2.  Ma -   To perfect ethics, it means "Jewel" and purifies jealousy (realm of jealous gods)

3.  Ni -    To perfect patience, it purifies passion, desire, body, and mind (human realm)

4.  Pad -  To perfect diligence, it purifies prejudice and ignorance and helps equanimity (animal realm)

5.  Me -   For renunciation, it purifies possessiveness and greed to give a state of bliss (realm of hungry ghosts)

6.  Hum - For wisdom, it purifies hatred and aggression to aid compassion (realm of hell)

This bangle will fit a wrist size between 16cm and 20cm.  It can be gently squeezed in, or opened to fit the majority of wrist sizes and is a suitable design for both ladies and men.
