NEW SPEC Stage 4 Clutch Kit

This auction is for a BRAND NEW SPEC Stage 4 clutch will fit the 2011-2013 BMW 335is 3.0L and will hold 580 lbft. of torque at the flywheel. These kits feature a non-SAC mechanism pressure plate, which , deviating from the original design, provides a lighter rotating assembly, higher rpm capability and greater clamp load levels. Required for the install is a billet rebuildable flywheel that features a lightweight, low MOI design and infinite rebuildability. The billet aluminum flywheel weighs 14lbs, and billet steel 22 lbs.
SPEC part number SB534-2. These clutch kits are designed for use with SPEC flywheels SB53A-3 or SB53S-3 which are in our eBay Store. Spec flywheel is required for this kit.
Stage Four
We recommend these clutches for serious drag/road racing purposes since they engage instantaneously and are not comfortable for every day driving. The kit comes with a high clamp pressure plate, 3, 4 or 6 puck carbon semi-metallic rigid 2-piece clutch disc with high torque rigid hub and carrier assembly with install tool. This application does not utilize a conventional throwout bearing, as the releaser is a concentric hydraulic slave/bearing assembly. These clutch kits are designed for use with SPEC flywheels SB53A-3 or SB53S-3. Spec flywheel is required for this kit.
SPEC Stage 4 Clutch Kit:
This unit is a solid hub version of the stage 3. The hub is solid 8-rivet and the assembly is heat treated for strength and durability. It is available in a 3, 4 or 6 puck configuration. Use the 3 puck for the lightest option or the 6 puck for the smoothest engagement. The 4 puck is a good compromise for both. Street drivable in 6 puck configuration, but not street friendly due to the rigid hub.

Clutch Install Info
Unless using a new flywheel provided by SPEC, the existing unit must be resurfaced prior to installation of the clutch product to ensure integrity of friction surface. Owner must also break in the new high performance clutch for a minimum of 500 miles, primarily city and/or stop-and-go driving, before full throttle engagement, drag launching or power shifting. Failure to properly install and break in your clutch will create chatter and slipping, plus it will void the manufacturer's warranty. Unless otherwise instructed by written notice from SPEC, follow manufacturers instructions when installing clutch and flywheel products. SPEC recommends that all bolts be inspected before re-installation, and any bolts that have been removed and re-torqued multiple times should be replaced.
