Yin Yang Pendant with adjustable Leather Choker Necklace

Embodying  the Positive and Negative

Yin and Yang image

The ubiquitous Yin Yang symbol holds its roots in Taoism/Daoism.  The Yin, the dark swirl, is associated with shadows, femininity, and  the trough of a wave; the Yang, the light swirl, represents  brightness, passion and growth.

The Tao te Ching is a book (ching) that develops one's power (te)  when following a path where meaning can unfold to guide us  (Tao).  Te is the driving force of Tao active in each creature, and resembles our idea of evolution or individuation.

There is no omnipotent being beyond the cosmos, who created and controls the universe. In Taoism the universe springs from the Tao, and the Tao impersonally guides things on their way. The Tao itself is not God, nor is it a god, nor is it worshiped by Taoists.

Measuring 20mm across, this pendant comes with an adjustable leather choker necklace 45cm to 49cm sure to suite most.
