This Indian Alphabet flannel board set is adorable!  It is in excellent condition!  I used it, in my kindergarten classroom, during the month of November, to reinforce capital and lower-case letter recognition.  This set is clean and comes from a smoke free home.

This vintage set was made in 1981 by Learning Fun.  I believe I ordered it from a Nasco catalog.  It consists of 52 flannel pieces (26 Indian heads with capital letters and 26 feathers with lower-case letters).  The Indian heads are orange with black printing on them They are 3+" tall and 2.25+" in width.  The feathers are green (14 count) and purple (12 count), and they also have black letters printed on them.  They are 2.5" tall and 1" at the widest part.

I did revise the capital "I", as it looked like a lower-case "l".  It had no top and bottom strokes, so I added them on with a black permanent marker.

This set is rare and very hard to find I have not seen any others currently selling online!

This set would make a wonderful addition to a preschool or kindergarten classroom!  I would also be nice to have in a household with young children!  I am hoping to find this set a good home.
